Software & Developer Utilities·Active Platform
NEXUS
Local Network Intelligence & Defensive Operations Platform
Project Purpose
To give developers and homelab enthusiasts an intuitive, self-hosted single pane of glass into their local physical and virtual networks.
Overview & Architecture
NEXUS is an open-source platform engineered for defensive home lab monitoring and local infrastructure visibility. It automatically discovers active devices on authorized subnets, generates hierarchical network topologies, inspects TCP port banners, tracks round-trip latency in real time, and logs network state changes.
Verified Features
- Automated local subnet sweep and ARP table device discovery
- Hierarchical visual topology mapping of network gateways, switches, and hosts
- Non-intrusive TCP port and service banner discovery
- Real-time WebSocket latency tracking and threshold alerting
- Docker containerized deployment ready for local servers
